Transparent, Flexible Options for Your Therapy Investment
At Dr. Nisha Todi’s telehealth practice, you’ll always know exactly what to expect — no hidden fees, no insurance confusion, and complete transparency from the start. Therapy is an investment in your mental and emotional well-being, and I want every client to make informed decisions that fit their personal and financial needs.
Payment Options
Payment is accepted at the time of service by:
Cash, check, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover)
Most Health Savings Accounts (HSA cards)
All telehealth sessions are billed directly and securely at the end of each appointment.
Why I Do Not Accept Insurance
As a licensed psychologist, I choose to remain an independent, self-pay provider to protect your privacy and ensure that treatment decisions stay between you and me — not an insurance company. Many insurance plans limit the number of sessions, require specific diagnoses, or dictate the types of therapy allowed. These restrictions often prevent us from tailoring treatment to your unique needs. By remaining self-pay, I can provide therapy that is flexible, confidential, and fully customized to your goals. I understand that finances are an important part of any health decision. My goal is not to discourage the use of insurance but to help you make the best, most informed choice for your mental-health care.
Session Rates
Initial Phone Consultation (30 minutes) — Free
First Appointment (60-minute intake session) — $200
Follow-Up Sessions (60 minutes) — $175
Each session is 100% confidential and conducted via secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth video conferencing, allowing you to connect from the comfort of your home or office.
Out-of-Network Benefits
If you wish to use out-of-network (OON) benefits, I can provide the necessary documentation (known as a superbill) to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. I’m happy to help guide you through this process if you’re unfamiliar with how it works.
Cancellation Policy
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you.
Cancellations or reschedules require at least 72 hours’ notice.
Appointments canceled with less than 72 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, are subject to a $100 fee.
Insurance providers do not reimburse for late-cancellation or no-show fees.
This policy ensures I can reserve adequate time for each client while maintaining fairness and consistency across my schedule.
